Why We Exist
Tackline Medical is a partnership of three founders. Two are dedicated racing sailors with thousands of offshore and inshore miles under their keels. The third brings years of event medicine on and off the water, including SailGP, and a working life as a commercial fisherman in Alaska. We’d each seen friends and fellow sailors get sick or injured at sea, and conversations at the Transpac finish line turned that into a decision to do something about it. We’re deeply rooted in the sailing community and committed to making the sport safer.
